Maria Sharapova will face Garbine Muguruza in a “Battle of Surfaces” Exhibition match on December 2nd in Madrid. The match will feature two surfaces with clay on one side and grass on the other. The concept harkens back to a 2007 match between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Sharapova will be returing from a suspension resulting from a positive drug test.
