The ITF has announced the seeds for the Draw for the 2017 Fed Cup by BNP Paribas World Group and World Group II play-offs. The Draw will take place on Tuesday 14 February at the ITF offices in London at 10:00 GMT. Follow the Draw live on www. twitter.com/fedcup and www. twitter.com/fedcup_es

The seeds are based on the new ITF Fed Cup Nations Ranking of 13 February.

The four seeded nations in the World Group play-offs are:

France (1), Russia (2), Germany (3), Netherlands (4).

Each of the seeds will be drawn against one of the following unseeded nations:

Belgium, Slovakia, Spain, Ukraine.

The four seeded nations in the World Group II play-offs are:

Italy (1), Romania (2), Australia (3), Canada (4).

Each of the seeds will be drawn against one of the following unseeded nations:

Chinese Taipei, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Serbia.

The 2017 World Group and World Group II play-offs will take place alongside the World Group semifinals on 22-23 April. In the semifinals, USA will be at home to Czech Republic, and Belarus will be at home to Switzerland.
