The International Tennis Federation announced today that HEAD will become an international partner of Davis Cup by BNP Paribas. The three-year agreement, commencing January 2017, will see HEAD produce and sell Davis Cup branded high performance tennis balls throughout the world.   

“This partnership with HEAD is very good news for Davis Cup by BNP Paribas as we will see Davis Cup branded balls sold globally,” said ITF President David Haggerty. “Davis Cup, played in around 60 countries each year, helps the ITF to grow and develop the game around the world. Over the next three years, we will work closely with HEAD to promote this partnership on a world-wide basis and inspire more people to play tennis.”

Davis Cup by BNP Paribas is the World Cup of Tennis. It is the largest annual international team competition in sport, with 135 teams entered in 2016. The competition is 116 years old having been founded in 1900. The title sponsor is BNP Paribas, the Official Bank of Davis Cup.
